What Distinguishes Us From Our Colleagues

We have a broad understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and have remained on the cutting edge of changes in delivery of health care services.

We have taught health law at UCLA for over 30 years.

We have been involved in managed care and have formed and represented IPAs since the first Medicare pilot projects in 1984.

As a trusted contributor, the Firm has worked with physicians to create patient centered programs that provide university level care in community settings. We have organized and represented sub-specialized programs in orthopedics, cardiology and oncology for decades.

We have a deep understanding of peer review and have represented both peer review bodies and individuals in peer review matters for more than 30 years. Whenever possible, we work hard to resolve matters without having to resort to a disciplinary hearing.

Importantly, we respect and value our provider clients. We understand that grappling with regulatory issues, negotiating contracts and forming new delivery entities has to be balanced with clinical responsibilities. Our job is to help bridge difficulties and accomplish our clients' goals.
